अन्तर्यात्रा · The inward journey
Three weeks of daily practice, done at home, with three live sittings along the way.
About this programme
About twenty minutes each morning, for twenty-one mornings. Not an hour, and not a retreat you have to travel to — the whole point is that it fits inside a life you are already living. A morning missed costs nothing and is not counted against you.
Week one is awareness. Observing what is already happening — the breath, the body, the first thoughts of a day — before trying to change any of it.
Week two is discipline. The same practice at the same hour, until it stops needing to be decided each morning.
Week three is self-inquiry. Turning the attention around to ask who is doing the noticing. The oldest question the tradition has, asked plainly.
Alongside the daily practice there are three live sittings, one at the end of each week, where that week is taken further and questions are answered aloud. Each week also carries a short reading from the texts VEDAUM already holds — not as scholarship, but as something to hold the week against — and a written reflection each day, a few lines, kept by you.
It does not promise to transform your life, and it will not tell you that it has. Twenty-one days is long enough for a practice to stop being a decision and not long enough to become anybody's whole character. What is offered is the practice, the company while you build it, and somebody to ask.
Walk the twenty-one days
The daily practice runs here, one morning at a time. A missed morning costs nothing and is never counted against you, and nothing is scored, ranked or turned into a streak.
