What VEDAUM is and the six things it will not do
A Vedic intelligence platform: the panchang for your own place, your chart drawn as a mandala from birth to a hundred, the practice, and the library. Built for Bharat, in Hindi and English, and free in the parts that matter most.
The name
ऋतम् · Ṛtam is the Vedic word for the order that holds — the rhythm the seasons, the body and a life all keep when nothing is forcing them. It is the oldest word in this tradition for the way things actually are, which is the only thing a platform like this is entitled to report.
What it refuses to do
- It will never frighten you. No doom, no graha blamed for an illness, no remedy priced against a fear. Where a period is hard it names what it asks and what it favours — never a verdict.
- It will never flatter you. No invented numbers. Where the evidence is not there it says not yet revealed rather than filling the space, and every reading names its own limits.
- There are no leaderboards, no scores and no streaks. Progression is only ever against your own silence. Nothing here ranks you against another person or against last week.
- Every remedy is seva, and seva is free. Nothing is sold against a fear, and the marketplace cannot read your chart at all — not as a policy, but as a rule in the code that fails the build if it is broken.
- Your data is never sold and never analysed to advertise to you, and it is deleted in one tap, on every tier equally.
- A child meets a different application. No matching, no predictions about their future, no purchases — and VEDAUM keeps no mood record for an account held by anyone under eighteen.
These are not a marketing page. Each one is enforced by a check that fails the build, and each has failed it at least once — which is the only reason to trust the list.

That list is imported by this page from the same file the pricing page promises from, so the two cannot disagree. What is paid for is depth and continuity, never a document and never relief from something.
How it computes
Every position comes from the Swiss Ephemeris on the server — never in your browser, never from a stored table — with the Lahiri ayanamsa, which is the convention the Government of India's Calendar Reform Committee adopted and most Indian panchangs still follow. Hold a day of it against the almanac you already keep. If a minute differs, it is because the two count from different sunrises, and VEDAUM names the place it counted from.
Terms, privacy and refunds
These are not published yet, and this page says so rather than linking to pages that do not exist. They need facts about the legal entity behind VEDAUM that belong to its founder rather than to its code — the registered name and address, a support address, the refund window, GST status and the jurisdiction for disputes. Nothing can be bought on VEDAUM today, so no purchase is unprotected in the meantime; what VEDAUM does with what you write is stated in full at the foot of every page and enforced in the database.
