What VEDAUM is, what it will never do, and what is expected of you.

This document is written, and a few particulars about the company that publishes it are not yet stated. They are listed below rather than filled with sample text, because a placeholder that looks like a fact is worse than a visible gap.

What this service is
VEDAUM is a Vedic intelligence platform. It computes a chart from a birth moment, keeps a panchang, offers practices and a place to record what you actually do, and generates guidance in language a person can use. It is offered as a rhythm to live by and a body of teaching to draw on.
It is not a prediction
Nothing here forecasts an event in your life. A period is described by what it asks and what it favours, never by what will happen to you. Where the evidence is thin, VEDAUM says so instead of filling the gap — and it will not display a score, a state or a title unless at least two independent sources agree.
It is not medical, legal or financial advice
Nothing on this platform diagnoses, treats or cures anything, and no graha is ever offered as the cause of an illness. The Ayurveda rooms describe a rhythm, never a treatment, and name no herb, dose or preparation. For a body, see a vaidya or a doctor. For money or law, see someone qualified. Decisions you take remain yours.
Your account
One account belongs to one person. Keep your sign-in to yourself; tell us if you believe someone else has it. The birth details you enter should be your own, or those of someone who has agreed to be added.
If you are under eighteen
VEDAUM shows a child a different application, not a locked one. No matching, no predictions, no purchases and no Kama content — enforced at the database, not only in what is displayed. A parent may hand over a device in a supervised mode that a child cannot leave on their own.
In a crisis
If what you write suggests you are in danger, VEDAUM stops being an astrology application. It offers human help first, with no chart and no reading in the way. It is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number or a helpline.
What is expected of you
Do not use VEDAUM to frighten, deceive or harm another person; do not present its guidance as a professional diagnosis; do not scrape, resell or republish its corpus wholesale; do not attempt to reach another seeker's data. Accounts doing any of these may be closed.
Bookings are somebody else's service
Where VEDAUM lists a retreat or a consultation, the service is provided by that partner and not by us. We list it, take a stated commission, and require seven photographs and real particulars before a listing appears. The quality of the service is the partner's responsibility; our obligation is that what is shown about it is true.
What you are charged
Your chart may never decide what you are offered or what it costs — the marketplace cannot read it at all, and that is enforced in code rather than promised in a policy. No remedy is ever sold, and no fear is ever priced. A remedy in VEDAUM is seva: an act, freely given.
The teaching, and your own words
The tradition belongs to everyone; this particular reading of it is ours, and the code, design and written corpus of VEDAUM remain ours. What you write stays yours — your journal, your check-ins, your vows. You grant us only what is needed to show it back to you and to run the service.
Your data
Covered fully in the Privacy policy. In short: never sold, never analysed to advertise to you, deletable in one act, and the parts you give about your body are walled off from everything else by design.
Ending it
You may pause your account, which silences everything without losing anything, or delete it, which removes what VEDAUM holds about you at once and for good. Nothing is asked of you in return and there is no retention offer.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the previous wording remains in the published history of this site. We will not change them quietly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts named below.
