Nothing can be charged yet
VEDAUM has no payment keys configured and no booking on this platform has a payment step. Nothing has been charged to anyone. This policy is published so the terms are known before that changes, not because transactions are happening.
Not yet complete
This document is written, and a few particulars about the company that publishes it are not yet stated. They are listed below rather than filled with sample text, because a placeholder that looks like a fact is worse than a visible gap.

What is sold
Two things, both of them somebody else's service: a consultation with an acharya, and a place on a retreat. VEDAUM lists them and takes a stated commission. Nothing else on the platform is for sale.
What is never sold
No remedy, ever. Not a gemstone, not a puja priced against a difficult period, not a protection from anything. A remedy here is seva — an act, freely given, costing nothing. There is no refund policy for a paid remedy because there is no paid remedy, and the marketplace is built unable to read your chart precisely so that one can never be invented for you.
The cancellation window
A booking may be cancelled for a full refund up to a stated number of days before the date it is held. ⚠ That number is not yet set and is deliberately not guessed here — an invented figure is a term a customer could hold us to. It will be stated before any booking can be paid for.
How to cancel
From your bookings page, or by writing to the support address below with the booking reference. A cancellation is effective when we receive it, not when it is processed.
When the money comes back
To the original payment method. Once a refund is issued it is normally with you within five to seven working days, though the last step belongs to your bank and not to us.
If the partner cancels
You are refunded in full, including our commission, whatever the window says. A retreat that does not happen is not a service you received.
If a payment fails or double-charges
Write to us with the date and amount. A duplicate charge is returned in full and we do not ask you to prove it twice.
If you disagree with an outcome
Write to us first and a person will read it. If that does not settle it, the courts named below have jurisdiction. We would rather answer you than be right.
