Today's three riddles
Turn a card. Answer all three rightly and this portal is sealed in your sky. New riddles every morning.
The day, for Kolkata
The day is chosen by the moment the tradition reads its tithi at, and the times are that day's own, computed for this city. A festival-specific puja window is not printed: those rules differ by tradition and await a scholar's review.
What the day is
A hill lifted to shelter people from a storm sent by a god they had stopped worshipping. The story is about protecting your own rather than obeying power.
One act for the day
Cook and give food away. Honour the animals and land that fed you this year.
