Gochara means moving through: where the grahas walk today, measured against your birth chart. Classically the transits are read from your Moon's rashi — that is how VEDAUM's weekly horoscope is made.

The fast grahas pass in days. The slow ones shape seasons: Shani stays about two and a half years in a rashi, Guru about one, Rahu and Ketu about eighteen months. When Shani walks the rashis before, upon and after your Moon, that seven-and-a-half-year season is Sade Sati.

Sade Sati is not a punishment. It is the season that asks for structure, patience and what is real — and many lives are built in it. Truth, not fear: read what your week asks in the weekly horoscope.

The tables on this page are drawn from the same data VEDAUM reads charts with. The teaching text awaits a jyotishi's review, like every teaching page here.
